Chef McNair developed his passion for food and cooking while serving in the United Stated Army and traveling the world for twenty-two years. After enrolling in the Culinary Arts School at the Art Institute of America in Atlanta, Georgia, Chef McNair refined his culinary skills and has won numerous competitions.
Chef McNair is an educator in culinary arts. During his first year as a teacher, he led his Clarkston High School students to their first countrywide Iron Chef Championship. Under his tutelage, his students held their own against many professional chefs from established restaurants winning Best Amateur Entree at the Real Men Cook -- Atlan

Under his tutelage, his students held their own against many professional chefs from established restaurants winning Best Amateur Entree at the Real Men Cook -- Atlanta competition. In the past years, Chef McNair led his students to a Blue Ribbon victory in the Third Annual Family, Careers, and Community Leaders of America(FCCLA) Georgia Peanut Recipe Contest sponsored by the Georgia Peanut Commission.
